Commonwealth shooting champion Gujarati woman Lajja Goswami has been inducted to Gujarat Police in apreciation of her achievements. She has been appointed Police Inspector in special quota. Gowami won the silver medal in pairs 50m rifle 3 position at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range along with Tejaswini Sawant in year 2010 Common Wealth games.
